1. Welcome to BeejakSlip!

By installing, activating, or using the BeejakSlip Google Sheets add-on ("the add-on"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not install or use the add-on.

2. What the Service Does

BeejakSlip is an automation tool built specifically to help school administrators, teachers, and finance personnel quickly generate print-ready PDF exam slips (resit/slip bayaran) for students. The add-on works directly inside your spreadsheet to pull student names, format them into your chosen template, and provide a convenient PDF download link.

3. Who It’s For & Acceptable Use

BeejakSlip is intended for educational institutions, school staff, and anyone using the official Beejak Slip Google Sheets spreadsheet template.

By using this tool, you agree that:

• You will use it strictly for its intended purpose: generating student exam slips within your designated spreadsheet.

• You will not use the add-on for any illegal activities or in a way that violates Google's own core Terms of Service.
  
  

4. Google Permissions & Account Security

To do its job, BeejakSlip requires you to grant two specific digital permissions (OAuth scopes) when you install it:

• Access to the current spreadsheet only: This allows the tool to read your active student list, apply your slip design, and manage the temporary print tab.

• User Interface (UI) display: This allows the tool to open its control panel and sidebar menus inside your Google Sheets window.
  
  

You grant the add-on authorization to perform these actions on your behalf. You are free to revoke these permissions at any time through your Google Security settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

5. Your Data & Privacy Boundaries

We take data privacy very seriously. Your use of this tool is heavily protected by our Privacy Policy, which establishes that:

• All processing happens locally within your open spreadsheet file.

• No student records, names, or financial entries are ever sent to external servers.

• No data is saved or retained by the add-on after your active print session ends.
  
  

6. Template Compatibility Requirement

BeejakSlip is not a generic spreadsheet printer; it is a specialized tool engineered to work exclusively with the Beejak Slip Google Sheets template. It relies completely on the template's specific structure (such as reading student data starting from Column D, Row 7, and using template tabs named SLIP 1, SLIP 2, or SLIP 3). Running the add-on on an unformatted or standard spreadsheet may result in processing errors or broken layouts.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

BeejakSlip is provided to you on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive for absolute accuracy, we cannot guarantee that:

• The add-on will completely operate without occasional interruptions or minor software bugs.

• The add-on will automatically adapt to unexpected future updates made by Google Sheets or the Apps Script runtime infrastructure.

• The generated PDFs will perfectly fulfill your local institution's specific legal, tax, or regulatory auditing requirements.
  
  

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of BeejakSlip shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential issues arising from your use of the tool. This includes, but is not limited to, data miscalculations, incorrect slip generation, print delays, or temporary service interruptions. Always verify your compiled PDF slips before issuing final prints to students or parents.

9. Third-Party Integrations (Google Services)

The final PDF generation step uses Google Sheets' native built-in download engine. Therefore, your use of the export engine is also subject to Google’s standard Terms of Service. BeejakSlip operates independently and is not officially affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Google LLC.

10. Service & Agreement Modifications

We reserve the right to refine or update these Terms of Service at any time to account for feature upgrades or platform adjustments. When changes occur, the "Last updated" date at the top of this document will be modified accordingly. Continuing to use BeejakSlip after an update indicates your ongoing acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, matching the regional operational setting (Asia/Singapore, GMT+8) and primary target user base of the add-on.
